Today started out like any other Monday. A sleepy drive up 79 to work, a steady morning of e-mails and a little web work.

Then a text message comes in from my mother, Cathy.

“…would you be interested in a mini goldendoodle, 5 mos, house trained, he will only get to be about 30 pounds.”

Um, YES!!!

So after a long lunch break and a few phone calls, I have a date to go meet the little guy. Long story short, a family in the area got a mini goldendoodle about a month ago, he was about 4 months old at the time, and he wasn’t getting along with her kids. They made the hard choice to let him go, and Mackensie and I adopted him.

I used to run a website called dotcom3.net, but it never really went anywhere. I tried making it a tech blog, portfolio, web design sales company, and a few other things over the years. Nothing ever stuck.

Now that domain, http://dotcom3.net forwards to my blog page, http://dotcom3.jeremysaylor.com, where if you’re lucky, I’ll throw up a new post about once ever 6 months.

I love the design of the site, using wordpress of course, and that’s about the only reason I haven’t thrown it away completely.

And who knows, maybe someday I’ll decide to make time to blog regularly…

2010 Kiser Classic T-Shirt Design

I designed the event t-shirt for the 40th Annual Kiser Classic, a girls basketball tournament in Grove City, PA. My design used a halftone pattern in the background along with gradients to create a look that poped off the shirt.

Welcome to my new portfolio site. I am so glad to finally move this site over to wordpress and have a first class product to show off. My other website has been on wordpress for years and I think it’s the best CMS you can use for small to medium sized projects.

It doesn’t come without frustrations, however.

Even on this site, not all of the options have been turned on yet.
