Today started out like any other Monday. A sleepy drive up 79 to work, a steady morning of e-mails and a little web work.

Then a text message comes in from my mother, Cathy.

“…would you be interested in a mini goldendoodle, 5 mos, house trained, he will only get to be about 30 pounds.”

Um, YES!!!

So after a long lunch break and a few phone calls, I have a date to go meet the little guy.  Long story short, a family in the area got a mini goldendoodle about a month ago, he was about 4 months old at the time, and he wasn’t getting along with her kids.  They made the hard choice to let him go, and Mackensie and I adopted him.
